Our client, based in South Wales, is currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as possible and the salary for the role is £41,403 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant HND or HNC Qualification in either Building or Quantity Surveying, have experience in both surveys and works specifications and have CAD experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Project managing planned work projects, including pre/post contract surveying

• Creating specifications and contractor management, including refurbishments and refits, project value: £100k - £5m

• Oversee project documentation, schedules and specifications for works

• Ensure all relevant statutory regulations are adhered to (including: CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations Party Wall Act, Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations, etc)

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience in surveys and specifications of work

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• CDM Regulations understanding

• Planning and Building Regulations
