Job description

We are currently partnering with a Gloucestershire based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Multi-Trade plumber to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is looking for an experienced plumber who can hit the ground running to work on their domestic properties, as provide assistance with carpentry and tiling.

This is a full-time position on a minimum of a three-month basis, and they are able to pay up to £25 per hour on an Umbrella CIS basis, and they’re able to get someone started following the Easter break.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing day to day plumbing and carpentry maintenance works within domestic properties, including repair faulty plumbing items which may include taps, cisterns, baths, showers and toilets
  • Completing cylinder changes in domestic dwellings
  • Undertaking tiling and decorating within kitchens and bathrooms as required
  • Carrying out first and second fix plumbing responsive repairs within Domestic Social Housing properties
  • Delivering ad hoc carpentry as and when required such as fitting skirting boards and hang fire doors

Experience/ Expertise required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Ideally an NVQ in plumbing
  • Able to carry out a variety of trades

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexibility can be offered on start and finish times where appropriate)
