Job description
Our client, based in Devon, is currently recruiting for a Planned Works Manager on a 6-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate available is circa £300 a day and due to be paid through an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on Retrofit/Decarbonisation projects, Cyclical Maintenance and line management experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing the Retrofit and Decarb works within domestic properties, including applying for grants and managing contracts for retrofit works
Directly line managing four surveyors and one technical officer
Overseeing all cyclical maintenance on domestic properties, including kitchen, bathroom, roofing and EICRs
Managing complaints from tenants
Providing advice and expertise relating to CDM
Procuring contracts for medium – large scale projects, and exercising budgetary management
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Experience working overseeing planned works contracts
