We are currently partnering with one of the UK’s most trusted social housing providers based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Service Assistant to join their passionate team on a temporary basis.

This will be a 3–6 month contract initially, working full-time hours. It offers hybrid working with up to 2 days working from home and the rest working in the office and on patch.

Ideally, the successful candidate for this role will have access to their own vehicle, and a Basic DBS dated within one year.

The pay rate for this position is up to £18.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Aiding and supporting the delivery of the neighbourhood inspection programme

• Supporting the neighbourhood teams and estate services team in the management and delivery of the estate services

• Working closely with the Safer Neighbourhood’s Team, Neighbourhood Team Leaders and Neighbourhood Services Manager, to support the collation of statistical information

• Ensuring systems are in place to support the effective management of budgets

• Assisting with the coordination of referrals and respond to a variety of tenancy related enquiries

• Providing administrative support as required to other areas that fall under housing

Experience required:

• Experience delivering excellent services and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction

• Understanding of relevant Housing legislation and tenancy agreements

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Able to manage, organise and prioritise own workload

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of others

Working hours:

• 37.00 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
