Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a leading not-for-profit employer, who are a forward-thinking organisation that values development, innovation and are committed to providing high quality service to their customers. They are now looking to appoint an L&D Partner on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Bedfordshire, with hybrid working offered alongside a competitive salary of £47,000 to £53,000 per annum dependent on experience, skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have experience of coaching managers, at all levels, to proactively manage performance. There is also a real opportunity to influence outcomes from the start!
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the L&D Manager to design and deliver a coaching and development strategy
- Engaging with managers to champion a development and growth culture throughout the organisation
- Promoting initiatives that encourage self-driven development, high-level performance and customer focus across the business
- Supporting the L&D Manager to provide coaching support to the senior leadership team, to help them develop their self-awareness of their strengths, leadership style, and development
- Working closely with key stakeholders, designing and delivering leadership development programmes that enhance leadership capability
- Working in partnership with HR Partners, supporting managers to understand the value of people and talent planning
- Providing support and guidance to produce and manage timely and effective operational people plans
- Undertaking specialist projects as and when required, leading on, working as part of a project group or working on your own
- Deputising for the L&D Manager
Experience required:
- Experience of coaching managers, at all levels, to proactively manage performance
- Extensive experience of influencing at all levels within a changing and challenging environment
- A CIPD/L&D/management qualification (desirable)
- Degree qualified or equivalent
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Able to evaluate and analyse the success of training that has been delivered
- Strategic thinking and planning across the L&D function
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the business
