Investment Surveyor
Job description
We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Investment Surveyorto join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £38,000 - £41,000 + (subject to experience), with the ideal candidate having at least five years of building management experience within social housing & property, and a HNC or equivalent qualification.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing planned, major, and compliance works programmes, including FRA remedial and insurance-related projects, ensuring completion to high quality, safety, and budget standards
Carrying out stock condition and building safety surveys, maintaining accurate asset data to inform long-term investment planning and compliance
Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring all works comply with health and safety, fire, asbestos, and building regulations
Supporting sustainability initiatives through retrofit surveys and energy efficiency improvements, contributing to decarbonisation goals
Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and residents to deliver projects effectively, manage budgets, and enhance service quality
Expertise required:
At least five years' building management experience in social housing, construction, or property, with proven contract management and stock survey skills
Strong knowledge of asset management, building safety, and key regulations (Decent Homes, HHSRS, CDM, DDA, Asbestos, Fire Safety)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, asset lifecycle software, and CRM
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Full UK Driving Licence

37 hours per week
Monday - Friday
