Job description

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Investment Surveyorto join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £38,000 - £41,000 + (subject to experience), with the ideal candidate having at least five years of building management experience within social housing & property, and a HNC or equivalent qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing planned, major, and compliance works programmes, including FRA remedial and insurance-related projects, ensuring completion to high quality, safety, and budget standards

  • Carrying out stock condition and building safety surveys, maintaining accurate asset data to inform long-term investment planning and compliance

  • Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring all works comply with health and safety, fire, asbestos, and building regulations

  • Supporting sustainability initiatives through retrofit surveys and energy efficiency improvements, contributing to decarbonisation goals

  • Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and residents to deliver projects effectively, manage budgets, and enhance service quality

Expertise required:

  • At least five years' building management experience in social housing, construction, or property, with proven contract management and stock survey skills

  • Strong knowledge of asset management, building safety, and key regulations (Decent Homes, HHSRS, CDM, DDA, Asbestos, Fire Safety)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, asset lifecycle software, and CRM

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday
