We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary 3 Month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £23 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Housing Management and previous experience working for a Housing Association

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing your own patch and carrying out all aspects of tenancy management

• Being responsible for allocations and lettings

• Carrying out anti-social behaviour casework and resolving domestic abuse and harassment cases

• Being responsible for safeguarding and tenancy support including tenancy and estate management

• Completing tenancy changes/mutual exchanges/succession and assignment/left in occupancy

• Investigating tenancy fraud cases

• Carrying out the collection of rent and setting up payment plans for residents

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible)

• 2 days working from home a week
