We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Berkshire, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary one month (rolling) contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is either £22.40 PAYE or £26.55 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have an enhanced DBS certificate, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Housing Officer duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for a patch of generic properties including all tenancy management such as viewings, new tenancy visits, tenancy audits, end of tenancy visits and property inspections for mutual exchanges and transfers

• Working with customers where tenancy failures are identified and agreeing achievable action plans

• Taking tenancy enforcement action when appropriate following correct legal processes, managing high level ASB (court attendance may be necessary)

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Void management

• Serving notices

• Up to date knowledge of housing legislation

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
