Job description

We are currently partnering with an Essex based local council, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer to join their growing team on a 2-3 month contract.

This is a full-time position with a negotiable hourly rate and they are looking to get someone started the week commencing 2nd March.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a patch of around 900 properties
  • Overseeing complex ASB cases and representing the council in court when necessary
  • Carrying out estate management
  • Serving NOSPs and NTQs
  • Undertaking tenancy visits and audits
  • Managing rent accounts and arrears

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience managing a large patch of properties

Rewards and Benefits:

  • 2 days a week working from home

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
