Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in West Sussex, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to next week and the hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a CIH qualification, have an Enhanced DBS taken out within the last 3 years, have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Housing Officer duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing a patch of 900 properties alongside x2 other housing officers
- Managing low level ASB issues – no court experience required
- Carrying out welfare visits and safeguarding referrals
- Supporting residents with signups
- Undergoing welfare visits and safeguarding referrals
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday, 8:45am-5:15pm
- Friday, 8:45am-4:45pm
