We are currently working in partnership with a multi-disciplinary consultancy practice with over 50 years’ experience delivering exceptional projects, who are looking to appoint a Graduate Building Surveyor on a permanent contract.
This will be a full-time position based in Wakefield, with hybrid working and a salary of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have a 2-3 years’ experience, a degree in Building Surveying and housing sector experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Maintaining safety awareness on residential and new build sites and keeping abreast of building regulations and design standards
Advising clients on schemes and projects, determining requirements including health and safety and the Equality Act
Preparing scheme designs with costings, programme for completion and specification of works
Carrying out feasibility studies
Preparation of documents for tender and advising on appointing contractors, designers and procurement
Building Surveying degree
2-3 years’ experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Residential and new-build projects
Stock Condition and other building surveys
