Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a growing Housing Association based in Lancashire, who are recruiting for a Governance Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

The salary for the role is in the region of £30,000 - £35,000 subject to experience, and both full and part time working patterns will be considered.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Arranging and servicing Board & Committee meetings within office hours, including drafting and circulating minutes

  • Preparing governance reports for the Board & Committees

  • Working closely with the Head of Operations and Governance Consultant to ensure compliance with the regulatory standards and the National Housing Federation’s Codes of Governance and Conduct

  • Supporting with Governance related project work

  • Preparing data for regulatory submissions and assisting with internal compliance audits

  • Supporting with populating the in-depth risk register and assist in preparing risk reports for Board

  • Corporate Governance

  • Minuting Meetings
