Our client, based in Wiltshire, is currently recruiting for Fire Safety Surveyor on a 18 Month Fixed Term contract.

The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The salary is up to £47,000 per annum dependent on experience and largely a home based role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing a professional Fire Safety Service, Social Housing experience and hold the qualifications highlighted below.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading the delivery of a loft compartmentation project across all of the domestic housing stock

• Liaising with the internal fire safety team and external contractors to deliver projects on time/within budget

• Completing fire risk assessments/surveys and provide specifications of works to ensure all tenants properties are compliant with current Fire Safety Regulations

• Providing an effective Fire Safety Service across the organisation

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience delivering loft compartmentation projects on domestic properties

Qualifications required:

• HNC or CIOB in Building or Surveying or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of fire safety compartmentation within loft spaces

• IFE certified Fire safety management and fire risk assessment course 

• NEBOSH Fire certificate 

• FDIS Diploma
