We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in the North West, who are recruiting for a Fire Compliance Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client has over 8,000 homes where they help their customers live, grow and thrive.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £43,000 per year and this role is due to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to): 

• Directly manage a range of contractors to ensure that all the organisations legal compliance requirements

• Delivering the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021

• Taking the lead on fire safety and acting as the first point of contact for all fire safety queries for tenants and colleagues

• Carrying out Fire risk assessments and writing up of the subsequent reports

• Working collaboratively with government and internal/ external partners

• Taking the lead on any actions relating to High-Rise safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Social Housing experience ideal

• Previous experience carrying out fire risk assessments

• Full UK driving licence.

• Knowledge of the new building safety regime 

• Experience of working in a supervisory role
