Job description
We are currently working with a fantastic London-based homeless charity, who are looking for a Finance Officer to come in on a temporary basis for 3 months and support them with some annual spend reviews/budgeting.
This is a full time, office-based role in South East London. The pay rate is roughly £25 per hour via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have intermediate/advanced Excel skills and have used Xero. Any experience working within a housing environment would be massively beneficial (but not essential).
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Reviewing spend across 61 separate London based projects, for the financial year so far – most project spend is between £200-300k per annum
- Downloading and using reports from Xero
- Gathering data using Excel
- Data will eventually be presented to budget holders, as well as the relevant local authorities
Experience required:
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Xero
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
