Do you have experience supporting recruitment in a CQC regulated environment?
We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join our client's busy Recruitment and Onboarding team on a 12 month contract basis.
It is a predominately remote position with one day per week in Head Office in Halesowen and has a salary of £28k.
This fast-paced role is pivotal in helping to ensure compliance for new starters within a regulated Health and Social Care environment as it will be responsible for the checking and signing off all pre-employment checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Signing off completed new starter files/checks, ensuring compliance with CQC recruitment regulations and safer recruitment standards
Managing a busy caseload of around 80-100 checks per month, checking all new starters have completed adequate right to work, referencing and DBS checks
Auditing the work of the onboarding team, escalating repeat issues and providing training/support to improve standards and drive a 'right first time' culture
Working closely with the onboarding and wider recruitment teams and keeping key stakeholders updated with the progress of completed checks
Supporting with the completion of onboarding checks directly during exceptionally busy periods
About You:
Experience working within a Health and Social Care environment and of CQC regulations around recruitment
Good organisational skills and a can-do positive attitude
Someone who takes the initiative, with a proactive mindset and a flexible and solutions-focused approach to changing priorities
Key details:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9-5
12 month contract
1 day in Head Office (Mondays) 4 days working from home
£28k salary
