We are proud to be partnering with a Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are looking to appoint a Disrepair Surveyor on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of up to £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience completing disrepair inspections within social housing tenanted properties and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing Disrepair Inspections

• Raising Schedule of Works

• Holding responsibility for the surveying and managing of the works process of the damp and mould services

• Managing an end-to-end service for the damp and mould works, from surveying of customer’s homes, arranging required works and post works quality inspections

• Diagnosing causes of potential damp, mould, as well as condensation and the required rectification works

• Accurately recording all findings and required works, using a reporting tool, carrying out full assessments

• Reporting findings to allow required works to be undertaken

• Instructing and managing the identified works within their financial sign-off, both utilising the internal repairs team and specialist contractors as required

• Ensuring works have been completed and a resolution of the damp/mould has been identified

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience completing disrepair inspections

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
