Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Disrepair, Damp and Mould Surveyor on a 3-4 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have strong disrepair experience and recent Social Housing experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Project manage damp, mould and disrepair works from inception through to completion including diagnosing, specifying; procuring and monitoring

• Undertake contractor administration duties as required including reviewing Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications and all contract documentation, ensuring that these comply with the project brief and timescales, budget estimates, all relevant legislation, health and safety regulations and policies

• Providing expert technical support and advice building related matters and to act as an expert witness in cases of disrepair litigation

• Undertaking pre and post inspections, processing variations

Experience required:

• Recent experience required in Social Housing

• Strong disrepair experience

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Must have a formal qualification e.g RICS
