We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Complaints officer on a six month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with a salary of £35,670 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Complaints Handling position (This does not necessarily need to be in housing), as well as access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Taking the lead on all complaints relating to damp and mould, including stage 2 complaints and disrepair cases
• Supporting senior management with complaint investigation, drafting responses and ensuring customer resolution
• Writing out letters and ensuring action plans are followed through
• Managing a caseload of complaints which will include visiting tenants in their homes
• Ensuring customers are kept up to date with repairs progress
• Updating internal databases with complaints progress to ensure internal targets are being adhered to

Experience required:

• Experience required in complaints handling
• Experience working with customers
   

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Someone who is proactive
