We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer based in Coventry, who are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position offering 2-3 days per week home working and a salary up to £60,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

The ideal candidate will be qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA and have at least 1-2 years' post qualification experience.
 

Duties will include (but are not limited to):  

• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the corporate tax compliance
• Preparing the UK corporate tax returns, managing corporate tax payments and claims and elections for group entities
• Completing tax reporting under UK GAAP for statutory accounts purposes
• Monthly/quarterly tax accounting/reporting for group purposes
• Supporting to deliver the group's senior accounting officer sign-off process
• Supporting with tax advisory special assignments on an ad hoc basis
• Keeping technically up to date using resources such as our books online
• Challenging current practice and driving improvements to reporting processes

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Tax accounting experience is essential
• Proactive and commercially minded
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt and adjust to different audiences
