Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Commercial Administrator (Repairs) on a temporary six-month contract. The role is part-time, with 18.5 hours per week, and is due to start immediately with an hourly rate of £14.00 per hour.
The ideal candidate will ideally have proven experience of working within a repairs/maintenance setting, with a background of raising invoices and Purchase Order numbers for repairs works and contractors.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Raising all purchase orders in AccuServ as required by the team, emailing the supplier and updating jobs with this information
Processing invoices for the repairs department in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met
Financially completing jobs, checking labour and travel costs and times are, and ensuring the correct SOR's are claimed to each job
Raising out of hours repairs and update them with operatives' notes, including times and material
Logging the out of hours repairs on to a spreadsheet to keep a record and raise any follow up works
Liaising effectively with suppliers and subcontractors via telephone or email regarding works and invoices
Updating the asset register and assisting the schedulers where necessary to assign jobs and call tenants regarding no access
Experience & Skills required:
Strong administrative experience
A keen eye for detail
A background of working within repairs and maintenance
Experience of raising invoices and Purchase Order numbers
Experience working with customers within housing
Working hours:
18.5 hours per week
