Work Type: Permanent Position

Day Rate:£40,425-£46,725

Location: Hybrid Working Based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their Transformation and People team in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Reporting to the Business Analyst Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that modules and software provide maximum benefit to customers and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure system modules to maximise efficiency and benefits for the service area, organisation, and customers

  • Share knowledge and skills proactively across the business and within the business analyst team

  • Act as a change agent, creating a buzz about change and monitoring 3C's documents across the team

  • Use continuous improvement methodologies to process map existing and new processes, and re-engineer existing processes for measurable improvements

  • Gather and define functional and non-functional business requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and carry out MoSCoW prioritisation

  • Lead on UAT for all relevant systems and processes within their area of expertise

  • Participate in corporate projects, providing subject matter expertise and business analysis

  • Develop training solutions and maintain training documentation and materials

  • Plan, prepare, and support teams in testing, and communicate and train staff on system enhancements

  • Maintain process and system documentation, and resolve business process configuration and functional issues in system applications

  • Utilise continuous improvement methodologies to identify areas for improvement and support teams in identifying improvements to processes

Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification (Desirable: Lean or other continuous improvement qualification, relevant Business Analyst Qualification)

  • Proven track record of change management and continuous improvement

  • Excellent documentation skills, including experience in designing bespoke reports or developing data analysis solutions

  • Experience in process re-engineering, requirements gathering, planning and facilitating workshops, and managing user acceptance testing

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Dynamics, Office Stack, DevOps, Power Platform) and other relevant software (desirable: QL, iTrent, Networx, Great Plains, Pimms)

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Flexible, able to multi-task, prioritise work, and manage multiple priorities

  • Passionate about self-learning and development, and enjoys exploring new software to create efficiencies
