Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South East London, who are recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of £45,000 to £70,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting in establishing the client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Preparing and producing specifications for works, tender and contract documents
  • Coordinating members of the design team and project stakeholders
  • Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc)
  • Analysing site activities; prepare progress reports on time, quality and cost of projects
  • Conducting site visits, assessments and projections for future work

Experience required:

  • Experience working within the private sector
  • Ideally Chartered (MCIOB or MRICS)

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Building safety act regulations
  • Financial management and budgeting
  • Contract administration
  • Specification writing
