We are currently partnering with a Top 100 Surveying firm in South East London/Kent, who are recruiting for a Building Control Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £50,000 – £70,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Undertake ‘plan check’ work on both refurbishment and new build works which include low and high rise buildings

• Have excellent knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 so correct recommendations can be made in the construction process

• Work closely with clients and undertake in business development opportunities when they arise

Experience required:

• Experience with the Building Safety Act 2022

• Experience working in plan checks of designs is essential

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• RICS membership is highly desired
