Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a company who offer consulting, commercial and care services to public and private sector clients. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Norwich, with hybrid working (2 days home working) and a salary of £29,000 to £35,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have a HND / HNC (or equivalent) in a related surveying or construction discipline.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Working within a team of surveying professionals and providing a full range of services to a number of development projects
Providing comprehensive surveying services to their clients
Supporting on feasibility studies, tender analysis, cost plans and preliminary estimates
Producing high quality documentation in regards to findings and proposals
Liaising directly with clients
Experience required:
HND / HNC (or equivalent) in a related surveying or construction discipline
Proven experience within a similar or related role
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Desire to work towards membership, of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors – RICS
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business
Any knowledge of the construction industry, BCIS Online or NBS Building would be an advantage
Full UK Driving Licence
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
