Job description
We're currently supporting foran Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a well-known Housing Association in Bath on a temporary contract until the end of March!
The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with at least 2 days per week home-working. Hourly rates for this role will be negotiable dependent upon experience but will be around the £36,000 per annum equivalent mark.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage a caseload of complex ASB cases with a primary focus on securing and enforcing court injunctions and property access orders to protect communities and ensure compliance with tenancy conditions
- Prepare and present high-quality legal case files, including witness statements, evidence bundles, risk assessments, and instructions to solicitors, ensuring cases meet evidential and procedural standards
- Lead on court proceedings and hearings, acting as the organisation's representative, liaising with legal services, and providing clear guidance to internal teams on outcomes and next steps
- Coordinate property access action, including lawful entry processes, notices, and enforcement, working closely with housing management, contractors, and legal teams to secure access safely and proportionately
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, such as the police and local authorities, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring all actions comply with legislation, safeguarding, and organisational policies
The only essential experience for this role is drafting injunctions and handling medium-to-high level ASB.
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
