Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association, who are recruiting for an Aftercare Advisor to join their growing London team on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary 3-month position with an hourly rate of £25.18 PAYE or £29.54 via UMB and is due to start immediately.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Receiving repairs claims from new tenants who have recently moved into properties, and determining as to whether the Housing Association is responsible for the claim
  • Managing the expectations of the tenants in regards repairs claims, and providing feedback as to whether they need to deal with the repairs themselves
  • Raising repairs orders, and sending them through to the Repairs team in order for them to be carried out
  • Managing the maintenance of stock plots, and liaising with the repairs teams to track the progress of repairs  

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Technical understanding of housing construction
  • Knowledge of housing development and associated procurement and construction practices
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and accurate recording of information for audit purposes
