Job description

Our client, a City Council based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis for 3-months initially.

 The position is due to start immediately, and offers remote working and a rate of up to £55 p/hour UMB.

 Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling a varied caseload of Adults Social Care matters, including advocating in Court and providing general duty advice

  • Advising on the Mental Capacity Act, including handling complex Section 21A matters and DOLS

  • Experience of assisting with ad-hoc SEN/Education matters is desirable

Experience required:

  • Adult Social Care Law
