Job description
Our client, based in Buckinghamshire, is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer on a 12-week temporary contract, with the potential to go permanent. The rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience. The annual salary for this role is £24,427.
This position is due to start in October, on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults and children, hold a clear, enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
A caseload 28 flats supporting families and young people, providing housing-related support to vulnerable residents, promoting tenancy sustainment and encouraging move-ons
Identifying client needs and carrying out monthly support plans and risk assessments
Providing support to residents with regards to welfare advice and benefit entitlement
Providing support to clients when they are applying for education and employment opportunities
Accompanying clients to GP, mental health and dental appointments
Liaising with and signposting residents to the appropriate external agencies
Organising community and social activities and supporting residents to overcome isolation by encouraging participation and involvement
Experience required:
Experience required in Supported Housing
Experience in providing tenancy support to customers with complex needs

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week on a shift rota basis, example below:
8:00am – 4:00pm: Week one
10:00am – 6:00pm: Week two
1:30pm – 9:30: Week three
4:30 – 9:30: One weekend in four you will be required to work a weekend however you will get an early finish on the Friday
