Our client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a Support Worker on a 1-month temporary contract, with the possibility of a further extension.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will be an empathetic individual who has previous experience delivering exceptional levels of care to homeless clients.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing support to a caseload of eight clients

• Responding to referrals to the service

• Carrying out assessments on clients

• Leading key working sessions

• Carrying out weekly Health & Safety checks

• Helping to carry out leave and licensing agreements on properties in use

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

• Risk assessment and management

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people or groups

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Mon - Fri – 08:00 to 16:00 or 12:00 to 20:00

• One weekend in six - 10:00 to 18:00
