Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Charity based in Warwickshire, who are recruiting for a Service Manager to join their ambitious and driven team on a permanent basis.
The annual salary of this role is £36,000 – however, it offers £38,000 per annum if the individual is CQC registered.
The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years, have access to a vehicle and be able to effectively manage a support service.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a team of 3-4 Deputy Service Managers and 6-10 support workers
Leading a service in regards to staff performance delivery against all KPIs and metrics
Responsible for effective delivery of all care and support, and being expected to liaise closely with internal and external housing landlords to resolve any arising matters
Ensuring service users are provided with a person-centred approach to help support their needs
Managing the performance of the team; including the team’s delivery of care and support schemes which promote dignity, well-being and independence
Monitoring all safeguarding and health and safety matters within the service
Carrying out supervisions and performance appraisals - offering training opportunities when required
Controlling the online rota management system and ensuring that there is sufficient staff cover in relation to CQC requirements
Delivering high-quality consistent care and support which meets the personalised needs of clients with a range of complex needs
Experience required:
Recent experience working as a frontline manager with clients who have complex needs
Experience leading and motivating a team
Monitoring KPIs and overseeing service improvement
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Strong communication – including mediation in order to diffuse intense situations
Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding regulations – with the ability to act in line with CQC standards

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
On-call rota
One in four weekends in the service - with the subsequent Friday and Monday off
