Our client, based in Reading, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Worker on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs, hold a clear, enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of  10 complex needs clients
• Working in partnership with other service providers such as mental health nurses and psychiatrists
• Providing safeguarding for service
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Implementing support plans

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Previous experience working with people who have experienced homelessness
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation
• Ability to work effectively without supervision

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
