Job description
Our client, based in Reading, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Worker on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs, hold a clear, enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a caseload of 10 complex needs clients
- Working in partnership with other service providers such as mental health nurses and psychiatrists
- Providing safeguarding for service
- Carrying out risk assessments
- Implementing support plans
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Previous experience working with people who have experienced homelessness
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation
- Ability to work effectively without supervision
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
