Job description
Our client, is a large not-for-profit organisation, who is currently recruiting for a part-time Support Worker on a 3 month temporary basis. The position is due to start at the beginning of March with interviews being conducted next week.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Responsible for supporting a caseload of young, vulnerable clients
Creating tailored support plans and completing risk assessments
Conducting health and safety checks
Encouraging clients to achieve independence at all times
Completing triage and signposting of clients to ensure they have the correct support in place
Providing housing, welfare, benefit and debt advice
Supporting clients to access education and employment opportunities
Attending team and staff meetings to feedback on the progression of clients
Working hours:
20 hours per week
Alternating rota: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5pm -10pm. Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday 5pm – 10pm, Saturday/Sunday 2pm – 10pm
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have an enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years and some experience with vulnerable client groups
