Job description

Our client, is a large not-for-profit organisationwho is currently recruiting for a part-time Support Worker on a 3 month temporary basis. The position is due to start at the beginning of March with interviews being conducted next week.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for supporting a caseload of young, vulnerable clients

  • Creating tailored support plans and completing risk assessments

  • Conducting health and safety checks

  • Encouraging clients to achieve independence at all times

  • Completing triage and signposting of clients to ensure they have the correct support in place

  • Providing housing, welfare, benefit and debt advice

  • Supporting clients to access education and employment opportunities

  • Attending team and staff meetings to feedback on the progression of clients

Working hours:

  • 20 hours per week

  • Alternating rota: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5pm -10pm. Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday 5pm – 10pm, Saturday/Sunday 2pm – 10pm

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must have an enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years and some experience with vulnerable client groups
