Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Support Worker on a PERMANENT BASIS.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary for the position is £27,250.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with complex needs, be committed to consistent service improvement and have an empathetic nature.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working with a caseload of 8-9 individuals who are living with a range of complex needs

• Assisting with the day to day running of the hostel

• Carrying out building checks and health & safety checks

• Liaising with other professionals to arrange additional care for clients

• Creating support plans and risk assessments

• Advocating on behalf of clients

• Completing housing applications and referrals forms

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

• Risk assessment and management

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people or groups

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week

• Start NO EARLIER than 07:30

• Finish NO LATER than 22:00

• Two weekends a month
