Our client, based in Essex, is currently recruiting for a Service manager for their award winning support service. The position is due to start immediately on a part time basis. Candidates can choose to work between three or four days per week with the hourly rate being negotiable based on experience.

 The ideal candidate would hold an enhanced DBS and would have managed staff in as supported living setting.

 Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Managing a team of x5 Day Support Workers and x2 Night Support Workers

·         Working in Support Living Accommodation providing care to x6 service users suffering from various complex needs

·         Conduct the day to day supervision of the service including 1-2-1’s and appraisals

·         Implement ‘action plans’ to improve the service as a whole

 Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         CQC experience (desirable)

·         Solid staff management

·         Complex needs care

 Working hours:

·         3-4 days per week

·         Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexibility to choose your days)
