Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a charity, who are looking to appoint a Service Manager on a 3 month temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position based in Hertfordshire, with a negotiable hourly rate dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience as a Service Manager and a DBS on the online update service.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading on quality assurance, safeguarding, risk management, incident/complaint handling, and health & safety
Enforcing full compliance with CQC, HSE, Local Authority and internal frameworks
Ensuring the rights, dignity and wellbeing of people supported are upheld and that each person has a regularly reviewed, meaningful life plan
Overseeing medication safety, audits, business continuity, on-call arrangements, facilities and equipment maintenance
Applying policies, procedures and best practice
Managing budgets, income growth, efficiencies, voids, forecasting, commissioning requirements, contract changes, invoicing accuracy and tenders
Contributing to strategic growth and sustainability plans
Creating high-performing teams through strong people management, succession planning, performance and wellbeing support, inclusive practice, employee relations, and role-modelling a positive, values-led culture
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience required:
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
Experience working as a Service Manager
Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
