Job description
We are currently working with a London Borough who are looking to appoint two Senior Contracts Lawyers on a temporary six month basis.
They had previously been outsourcing their Contracts Lawyers and support, but they are now bringing it in-house, needing locums to fill the gaps until the permanent recruitment is complete, a process they expecting to take them into 2026.
This is a London-based position on a full-time contract of 36 hours per week. This organisation is offering a heavily remote role that requires office attendance c. once a week, with a negotiable rate dependent on experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Handing a mixed caseload of Contracts matters
Liaising with internal stakeholders and third-party clients in respect of contractual obligations
Attending the Commissioning Board meetings, as well as writing up the relevant legal reports before hand
N.b there is limited need for JCT/NEC experience (not essential)
Rate of £55.00 - £60.00 (negotiable dependant on experience)
Experience required:
Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX, or similar legal qualification and authorised to conduct legal work
Working hours:
Full time (36 hours a week)
Monday to Friday
