We are currently partnering with an Accountancy Practice based in South Leicester, who are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a 4-month temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with a permanent salary equivalent of £40,000 and the start date is ASAP.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working through a backlog and calculating corporate tax returns and VAT

• Preparing financial statements and statutory accounts

• Taking ownership of your portfolio of clients and working closely with Partners and Associates

• Providing advice and guidance to clients regarding their accounts

• Overseeing two member of staff- Semi Senior Accountant and Accounting Apprentice

Experience required:

• Practice background

• Experience with Xero or Sage is desirable

• Relevant qualificaiton is desirable

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
