Job description
Our client, based in Liverpool, is currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a 3-month temporary contract covering long-term sickness.
The position is due to start within the next few weeks on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold a enhanced DBS and also have access to their own vehicle as travel between two patches is required,
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage two schemes across the week, supporting clients over the age of 55+
- Assisting residents with sustaining their tenancies
- Ensure tenants have access to other services and are sign-posted to the correct external agencies
- Conducting fire alarm and pull cord checks
- To assist tenants in the completion of referrals for various services including assistive technology
- To provide advice on low level rent arrears and liaise with the Income and Neighbourhood teams
- To give advice and assistance with the completion of welfare benefit applications
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Worked with vulnerable clients
- Helped clients sustain independant living
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, around 9am-5pm
