We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Repairs Administrator on an initial three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The rate of pay is circa £18.00 per hour via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have extensive scheduling repairs, liaising with contractors and dealing with tenants.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Scheduling and coordinating inspections, remedial works, and follow-up visits across housing stock.
• Allocating repair jobs to surveyors, contractors, and maintenance teams to maximise efficiency and first-time fix rates
• Acting as the main point of contact for tenants, providing updates, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring excellent customer service
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems to track job progress, case outcomes, and performance against KPIs
• Liaising with contractors and internal teams to manage workloads, prioritise urgent cases, and ensure timely completion of repairs
• Processing purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation in line with compliance and financial controls
• Producing reports and supporting performance monitoring to improve service delivery and case management

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
