Job description

Our client, a renowned and well-established housing provider based in Kent, is currently recruiting for a Repairs planner and Repairs Customer Service Advisor on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £18.21 per hour PAYE or £21.36 per hour UMB for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold a basic DBS taken out within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver a professional, high-quality, front-line customer focused service to all enquiries, concerns and requests for services received through various channels

  • Ensuring that all enquiries are swiftly and comprehensively resolved at first point of contact

  • Utilising necessary business systems in an appropriate way to record information relating to enquiries, transactions, and complaints in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of information and efficiency when dealing with customers

  • Owning customer enquiries or complaints and, with support from the wider business, seeing a range of customer journeys through to the end, ensuring customers get the best experience possible

  • Providing excellent customer services always and learn and improve services from any customer feedback, satisfaction, and complaints

Experience required:

  • Experience of working in a busy customer service environment

  • Confident working with GDPR legislation & aware with data protection protocols

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of property/housing management

  • Knowledge of Orchard housing management systems (Desirable)

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Organisation skills to meet deadlines

  • Record keeping discipline

  • Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
