Job description

Our client, based in the East Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Repairs Co-Ordinator on a three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable up to £16 per hour via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of co-ordinating repairs and maintenance within a social housing setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the responsive repairs operational teams by collating, analysing, and providing key service information relating to in-house and contractor performance

  • Completing interrogation and data management to inform managers of performance against key indicators

  • Assisting the complex works team in the management of disrepair claims, insurance claims and more complex repairs

  • Coordinating management information for trade operatives 121s and assist the Team Leaders by booking the 121 meetings

  • Monitoring and combining various data to maintain a tracker report, passing the information to team leaders/Senior Trade Operatives to allow them to action with operatives

  • Running data exception reports and actively deal with and address data integrity issues that would affect KPIs

  • Maintaining records and produce regular statistical information and management reports, including reconciliation with contractors and ensuring process adherence is met

  • Processing work items, including customer queries, within agreed SLAs

  • Acting as the point of contact for calls from operatives if the senior trade operative or team leader is unavailable. Deputise for team leader absence

  • Coordinating materials issues directly with the materials contractor

Experience & Skills required:

  • Highly customer focused

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Skills in negotiating, empathy and persuasion

  • Knowledge of maintenance and repairs

  • Experience of working within social housing

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
