Job description

Our client, based in Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Repairs Administrator on a 3 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is up to £18 per hour via umbrella dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role previously and have dealt with damp & mould queries.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Receive, process, and raise a range of Damp & Mould and other Repairs requests from customers, staff, external stakeholders, and other outside agencies by a variety of means including but not limited to email, telephone, web chat, letter, and face to face.

  • Administer DRS, QL and other databases in use by the organisation

  • To be proactive in ensuring urgent matters are brought to the attention of the relevant Officers

  • Establish and maintain effective systems for filing, record keeping, compile statistics, and reports for the service

  • To facilitate and take minutes for specific meetings as required

  • To ensure suppliers are paid on time by carrying out all invoice and payment related administrative duties

  • Administer customer enquiries, providing guidance and taking action

  • Maintain systems and ensure suitable responses for correspondence and urgent service requests (e.g., complaints, MPs and Environmental Heath)

Experience required:

  • Damp & Mould caseload

  • Experience working with customers within a repairs environment

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of QL, DRS or First Touch

  • Excellent Communication

  • Customer focused

  • Able to prioritise, organise and meet deadlines

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm/ 9am – 5pm/ 10am – 6pm
