Job description

​We are currently partnering with a leading higher educational institution based in London, who are recruiting for a Recruitment & HR Operations Officer to join their growing team on a 6 months FTC basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £33,823 to £40,247 per annum (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing excellent recruitment and operational HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff across the university and acting as the first point of contact for applicants, on boarders, and employees

  • Taking ownership of, and proactively supporting the administration of all aspects of the whole recruitment process for your area, with a focus on customer experience from the point of view of both the recruiting manager and the applicants

  • Implementing employee variations of contract and other changes across the employee lifecycle, as well as implementing processes and procedures such as UKVI compliance, maternity and sickness pay and other employee benefits and employment related legislation

  • Ensuring the HR databases (VT and ResourceLink) are up to date and accurate

 

Experience required:

  • Experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns and demonstrable understanding of recruitment and selection legislation, processes and the importance of diversity and inclusion

  • Experience organising own workload, overseeing a range of conflicting deadlines and ensuring that they are met in a busy office environment

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Experiences dealing with high-volume deadline driven requests in a calm, diplomatic and persuasive manner

  • Excellent attention to detail for both numerical and written information
