Job description

Our Local Authority client, based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis, for 3-months initially with potential extension.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, and the hourly rate is negotiable subject to PQE.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling regeneration and development projects work, including drafting development agreements, overages, conditional sale agreements, complex leases, license agreements and collateral warranties

    Advising on gap funding agreements, dealing with statutory school transfers and managing academy conversions

  • Providing legal advice to the client in regards to regeneration, community assets and planning enquiries

  • Supporting with ad-hoc corporate, constitutional, and administrative matters to ensure compliance with statutory duties and obligations

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday
