Job description
Our client, based in Northamptonshire, is currently recruiting for a Property Investment Manager on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary is £50,666 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and delivering development and asset investment projects within a Housing Association and hold a full UK Driving License.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing the Development & Homeownership Co-ordinator and Senior Property Investment Officer’s
Managing, monitoring and controlling all aspects of development and asset investment programme delivery to ensure it is appropriate, responsive and timely to support delivery of corporate objectives and priorities
Holding responsibility for contract management, budgets and ensuring that quality and best values are achieved
Identifying suitable land and property opportunities and presenting new schemes for approval
Submitting and negotiating proposals and bids for grant funding for both development and asset investment programmes
Managing strategic and operational risks including the health and safety of customers, staff and visitors
Ensuring that accurate information relating to housing stock is collected and kept up to date through management of systems and ongoing review of policies, procedures and documentation
Actively seeking and responding to internal and external customer feedback and to utilise this when influencing design and delivery and to achieve improved VFM and high levels of customer satisfaction within development and asset investment functions
Experience required:
Experience of managing and delivering development and asset investment projects in a similar organisation
Experience of managing staff and contractors and working across teams to meet shared objectives and targets
Experience of project and performance management and demonstrable track record of delivery on time and to budget
Experience of reviewing databases and systems for managing development and asset investment programmes
Experience of financial management and budgetary control procedures
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Financial management and budgeting
Knowledge and understanding of new build development and asset investment programmes
Knowledge of legal, regulatory and operational issues related to new build development and asset investment services, including health and safety
Ability to manage teams effectively
Strong customer service skills
Ability to plan and manage resources effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to produce reports
