Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a leading Social Housing provider who are looking to appoint a Project Manager (Development) on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Manchester, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £45,000 + a host of benefits.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in New Build development, and the full development journey starting from acquisition.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with the delivery of new development projects in adherence with time frames, budgets, and quality standards
Acting as a point of contact for the identification, negotiation and acquisition of new business opportunities
Managing and assisting development consultants in the developing of cost estimates, schedules of works and tender/contract documents
Identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that the organisations growth and profit targets are achieved
Overseeing scheme developments, ensuring administrations, time frames and budgets are all adhered to
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Experience with new build development
Experience overseeing the full development journey
Experience line managing development consultants
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
A degree level qualification in a related subject eg Construction Management, Surveying, Project Management etc. is desirable
Membership of, or currently working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB, APM) is also desirable
Project management experience and a track record of delivery; on budget, on time and to high quality standards
