We are currently partnering a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a permanent Planning Lawyer to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for a local Solicitor or Legal Executive looking for their next challenge!

The salary for the post in in the region of £56,000, and the role offers hybrid working and a competitive LGPS pension.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Drafting and negotiating a range of planning agreements, such as s106 and s73 agreements, and handling a high-volume caseload

• Provided advice to the client group on varied planning matters, including appeal enquiries

• Attended and represented the Council at Planning Committee meetings as and when required

Experience required:

• Drafting s106 agreements
