Planning Lawyer
Job description
Our client, a Local Authority based in Oxfordshire, is currently recruiting for a locum Planning Lawyer, to join the team for 3-months initially with potential extension.
The role offers hybrid working, and fully remote options will be considered. The team can offer between 21 and 37-hours per week, and the hourly rate is negotiable subject to PQE.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing advice to the client group on varied Planning & Highways matters, including advising on appeal enquiries and other associated matters as required
- Drafting and negotiating a range of complex Planning agreements, such as section 73’s and section 106 agreements
- Attending and representing the Council at Committee meetings on an ad-hoc basis
