We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Planned Delivery Manager on a temporary three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with a rate of pay of £375.00 - £400.00 per day (via an umbrella company).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of leading Planned Works within a social housing setting and have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading a planned maintenance team which consists of Surveyors and Administrators

• Delivering planned maintenance and improvement programmes in line with legislation and service standards

• Managing budgets, coordinating with internal departments, and driving continuous service improvement

• Monitoring service delivery against targets, customer satisfaction, and value for money

• Managing complaints, updating work programmes, and implementing corrective actions

• Preparing budgets, controlling expenditure, and ensuring financial compliance

• Procuring and reviewing contracts to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness

• Managing performance, development, and wellbeing of surveyors and administrators

• Embedding corporate values, ensuring safety compliance, and leading effective team communication

• Overseeing contractor performance, compliance, and quality control

• Managing tenders, risk documentation, and contract records in line with policy

Experience & Skills required:

• Experience of leading and managing technical colleagues

• Knowledge of writing complex reports, policies and procedures

• Background of procuring contracts and managing external contractors

• Experience of managing major works programmes, tenders and schedules of rates

• Successful background of financial and budget management

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
