Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Planned Delivery Manager on a temporary three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with a rate of pay of £375.00 - £400.00 per day (via an umbrella company).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of leading Planned Works within a social housing setting and have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading a planned maintenance team which consists of Surveyors and Administrators
Delivering planned maintenance and improvement programmes in line with legislation and service standards
Managing budgets, coordinating with internal departments, and driving continuous service improvement
Monitoring service delivery against targets, customer satisfaction, and value for money
Managing complaints, updating work programmes, and implementing corrective actions
Preparing budgets, controlling expenditure, and ensuring financial compliance
Procuring and reviewing contracts to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Managing performance, development, and wellbeing of surveyors and administrators
Embedding corporate values, ensuring safety compliance, and leading effective team communication
Overseeing contractor performance, compliance, and quality control
Managing tenders, risk documentation, and contract records in line with policy
Experience & Skills required:
Experience of leading and managing technical colleagues
Knowledge of writing complex reports, policies and procedures
Background of procuring contracts and managing external contractors
Experience of managing major works programmes, tenders and schedules of rates
Successful background of financial and budget management
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
